drop down list from a combo box

Sorry if this question seems easy but I have searched these forum boards under 'update event' and 'event procedure' and can't find an answer.

I have a drop down combo box called 'FormLocation' and when a value is chosen a list is (supposed to be) shown in another box. Now when I choose (or update) a value nothing happens in the list box, when I choose the 'row source' all the relevant data is shown - how do I get the list box to update when the value is chosen in the combo box?
