I have a quicksearch bar I've been working on for inventory data. It's small, for the purpose of using it while working with other programs.

size(600,60) is approximately where its at. Depending on the windows form I give it.

Now here's the deal:
I want my search to give results that are given in cells, with up to 4 different values. The intent here is to copy paste the 4 values into excel. I also want this search bar to expand uniquely when it finds items in inventory.

So with the cells, I gave up on a combo list after about 20 minutes (maybe ill go back soon and try) then dropped in a datagrid because the cell use is quick and easy.

The tough part and where my main question comes in is with resizing. I'd really like for the combolist or the datagridview to be the visibly expanded part of the form, and nothing else. How can I do that?

Where it's at now.. I've measured sizes of each row and just had the form resize accordingly for up to the first 10 values and then it will scroll beyond that. but if there's a way around resizing the form.. just to save a little more room.. ty
