DTPicker Events are not triggering

I have placed some code on the OnUpdated Event of the DTPicker ActiveX control but it is never triggered. I put a STOP (Break) into the event and execution never reaches the break point.

However, the OnFocus event is triggered.

Any ideas? Is the DTpicker bugged?

Are youe aware of the difference between events generated by the control that contains the ActiveX object, and the object itself? In the latter case you need to declare a WithEvents variable and trap its events.

Well as far as I'm concerned, the OnUpdated Event for the MSCAL.Calendar.7 control sure does not work as I would expect. I never got mine to trigger either. At least you are not alone with the question. Maybe someone else knows the magic trick to get it to work.

I had the same issue with the Date Time Picker control, and eventually
discovered that although there does not seem to be an On Change event for it
in the control properties in form design view, there is one in the VBA view,
which works just fine. Open the form's module in VBA view, select the
control on the left drop-down above the code section, and then the Cgange
event on the right drop-down and add your code.
