I have two DTPicker objects on a form - StartDTPicker and EndDTPicker

I would like to know how to set StartDTPicker to select the first date of the current month and also EndDTPicker to select the last day of the current month.

Or does anybody have any links for pages that have a tutorial on setting up a DTPicker control

Thanks in advance

Bri

eeek!!! That scared me!!!

I'm not that experienced with vba etc.

Any other suggestions??

I am not familiar with date picker but this works with text box controls.

Set the control source of StartDTPicker to ="01/" & Format(Now(),"mm/yyyy")

and EndDTPicker to =DateAdd("m",+1,[StartDTPicker])-1

I'd be interested to know if it works.

I'm a little confused by your phrasing! Do you mean that you want these dates to appear selected by default on the DatePickers?

While the formulas for the first and last day of the month may be right, what would be the point in setting the Control Source using these, as Extra Cover suggested? You wouldn't be able to use the DatePicker to choose a date!

Cheers for that, it definitely sets the values as 1st day and last day of month, just need to attach those values to my query to see how it interacts :D

Ah... just discovered that it doesn't allow a different date to be picked, regardless of which dates I choose it always keeps the first and last date selected! bummer :(

Wasn't clear that you wanted to change the dates - I've never used the date picker control - can you set the Default Value? If so try setting those.
