I have a Form and associated subform for entering tally information from our production line into the our stock database.
The subform contains 35 feilds moving from left to right that we tab through.
The information in fields 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 and 10 is descriptive product information and usually repeats in every record of the batch we are working on.
It is a PITA to enter this info over and over again in each new record.
Is there anyway that I can asign a "hotkey" to this form that when clicked creates a new record in the subform, duplicates or copies the information from feilds 2-10 into this new record from the previous record and places the cursor/focus in field one of the new record?
Please be gentle, I am a real beginner!!
Thanks
