Dynamic Cross-Tab Report

Is it possible to develop a 'dynamic' X-Tab Report so that it properly displays all of the contents of the underlying X-Tab Query changes? My number of columns in my underlying X-Tab Query varies depending on the information. I want the report to be as dynamic as the underlying query.

I have tried adjusting the number of Report Columns in the Page Setup but the results are not what I want. Next I tried having a fixed number of columns on the report and making then visible only when required by the Query.

There must be an easier way. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Filling a report from a dynamic crosstab is not an easy task, I've tried it! I found a sample which I was able to adapt and it always amazes me when it works. I'll send you the sample.

Take a look at MicroSoft's Solutions database under Solutions | Create Advanced Reports | Create a crosstab report with dynamic column headings.

The solution takes some time to setup, but it should give you what you're requesting.
