I have a Total Query to summarize the count of a field (with the criteria such as Sales Volume by category from Jan-01-10 to date()) and I created a pivoted chart to display the data on a pie-chart.
Subsequently, I create another new form and embed the pivot chart as sub-form and few more controls on the main form to allow user to alter the Total Query parameters (such as the data range). Then I re-construct the query statement & update the RecordSource of the pivoted chart sub-form container and perform Requery, but the pivot chart sub-form just screw up completely, sort of like need to reconstruct the pivot chart from the scratch again.
It looks like once the record source of the pivoted chart change, the chart needs to completely re-construct from the scratch.
Would like to see advice on the right approach to handle this
