e-mail order to suppliers

Hi ,

I have about 200 suppliers and when I create an order the suppliers e-mail address is on that order(report), is it possible for the order to be sent by e-mail without me selecting the e-mail address again as it is already on the order. can a macro or something get the e-mail address and send the report directly

You can use the Macro -> Email Database Object. How are you deciding which supplier's report to print?

I will be prompted for the order number. this will then send that report to therequired supplier

but how do we get the e-mail address from the report to the macro

Have you worked with any vba? If not I can show you how with queries and macros.

Edited - found my example database that uses a form to select an order #, populates another field with the email address associated with that order. No VBA, just macros, queries and forms.

Which version of access are you using?

I took the example back to an Access 2000 file so you should be able to open this one.

hi , access 2007 , the file extention is a "php" and it only comes in a notepad format
