Editing data with a field

I have a problem that I need help with.

When I go to edit data within a field, example, to fix a mis-spelled word, it won't let me insert the data, I have to re-type all the information to the right of where I am making my correction.

Example:

This is the incorect information entered in the field.

When I go to put the second "r" for the word incorrect, I have to re-type the remaining data.

I would have to re-type the following:

rect information entered in the field.

This problem is present in all types of fields within the Forms of my database.

Please help.

Sounds like you are not in insert mode, have you tried your INSERT key on your keyboard to see if it will toggle?
Trying the simple first....

Insert key doesn't make a difference, toggled on or off...
