Hi

I currently have a form that when completed is emailed by clicking a button with VBA code. At the moment all details required are on the form and therefore the email does not appear for editing.

In some instance staff may need to add attachments, is it possible to have a YES/NO type field that if YES the email opens for editing and if left as NO the email is just sent?

Thanks for your help

Check this link for a full explanation of the DoCmd.SendObject

All you have to do is set the EditMessage argument in the DoCmd.SendObject to True (-1) if you wish the user to be able to edit the outgoing message. So you could simply put Me.CheckBoxName in that portion of the DoCmd.SendObject to achieve the result you are looking for

Many thanks for that - didn't realise it would be that simple!

Thanks again
