I've used this simple code to add an email response....

DoCmd.SendObject , , , Me.Requestor_s_Email, , , "Completion of Work Request " & Me.Text40, "This is an automatic response..blah blah..request number " & Me.Text40 & ", as requested on " & Me.Date_Requested & "." & vbCrLf & "If you require any further ... blah blah....", True

The problem is the vbCrLf, it doesn't work, instead of adding the required line break it adds a space.

Any one have any ideas?

This is my first experience of VB so keep it simple please.

Ta.

Change the vbCrLf to Chr(13) for each line return you want to create in the e-mail message.

Thanks majsparky, but I tried that, I even tried <br> and selected HTML format but that didn't work either.
I'm now thinking that it may have something to do with word wrapping but don't know how to turn it off.
