I've created a db using Access 2007, but saved it as .mdb format because a collaborator has Access 2003. I now discovered that all the action buttons I created with the button wizard are "embedded" in the forms, and Access 2003 can't run/access them. Is there any way of easily "un-embedding" them (e.g. give them individual names & re-assigning them) or getting them to work in 2003?

In addition to the information that Allan supplied, let me also say that it is an important principle to develop your application in the earliest version of Access that it will be deployed to. The problem you have encountered is just one of many possible examples of where a new feature was used but will fail in an earlier version, and it is simply asking for trouble to try and back-track.

Now that you've got to this point, is it possible for your collaborator to upgrade their system to Access 2007?
