Embedded Signature

Hello All,

I've got a table named tblEmployee with a field called attSignature of attachment datatype which inturn holds jpeg files of employees signatures.

My query is when I create a letter in word I'd like to replace <Sign> with this signature. I've tried this but its replacing the word <sign> with the jpeg(image stored) file name.

Any help would be appreciated

I too failed to mail merge a picture and have come up with a work around as I have only four employees it works fine.I recorded a seperate macro in word document ,to add a picture for each signature and the macro button is placed in the tool bar . To actiivate a name employee I place the cursor on the sinature box and click the appropriate employee.

You have the option of showing the buttons on selected letters or all documents.
Down side . You will have to repeat the procedure for each user where word is loaded on their PC. If
word is housed on the server you might get away with creating it just once.
I hope someone comes up with the answer you require, have added this as a work around only
