I have created an ACCDR that uses some active x controls. I don't use any macros however I do use docmd.transferdatabase to link to an outside access table.
The ACCDR will not run unless macros and active X are enabled in the trust settings.
The problem is, how do you set that to enabled in the runtime version for clients without the full version of access?
Things I have tried:
1. I created an installer which adds my directory to the trusted locations. I know this is working correctly because I don't get any security warnings since adding the registry entry. This however did not have any impact on the run time errors related to active x and macros. If I install the full version of Access and then change active x and macros trust levels it works fine.
2. I have tried creating a self signing package but upon extraction I have the same issue.
