At work I can enter +15 in a date field and it automatically sets the date 15 days after todays date. Our companies computer is operating on a ERP system. I would like to do that in an Access database I'm designing for a friend. Any hints.

CG,

The context in which you do this is important.

VBA has a Date function; Date+15 is fifteen days from today.

There is also the DateAdd function:

SomeDateField = DateAdd("d", 15, Date)

Thanks Wayne, But not sure the DateAdd would work. I would like to have her type in +15 in the date due field and when she enters or tabs out of it have it , it would have updated the field to 15 days past todays date date. She may also put in +7 or +23 or +30 depending the due date. Her client may say call me back in 10 days. She would have to look up what the tenth day is if it falls at the end of the month. Not a huge problem but I seen it work at Work where as I just type in + 120 and tab out and it automatically set the day for 120days past todays date. Again I know nothing about VB. I got by with macros and functions. I really need to learn it.
