Hi all,
First post here so, please, be gentle with me
I have an odd (to me) question; I've got a query to search a table and I deliberately solicit user input by setting one of the query field criteria to '[Enter building ID to search]' (without the quotes, of course). In 2007 this brings up the 'Enter Parameter Value' box, renamed as appropriate, so the user can enter a building ID. In Access 2000 Runtime - nothing happens. Users have reported the same with the full version of Access 2000.
The query is called by a form event - I don't know if this makes any difference? Like I say, it works fine on 2007...I did a search of the forum, and Google, and I didn't find anything about the above method being unsupported in 2000 - so I'm stuck. Any ideas?
Many thanks,
Steve.
