Erasing Data

When my users goto their form, it comes up to the first record. Some of them are forgetting to create a new record for their information and are changing the first record. How could I have access create a new record when my users open the form?

This problem is driving me crazy...

From your command button to open a new form, use ....

Form_frmName.GoToRecord,, acNew

you can go to the form properties and set the "Data Entry" property to Yes

Be aware, with maxmangion's suggestion you will only be able to enter new records; you cannot view existing records.

Of course, my answer to this particular problem would be to replace the offending users! Anyone who isn't intelligent enough to realize that they have an existing record before them on the screen shouldn't be allowed access to thecompany computers!
