Error #91 - Help - Solved

Hello All,

I have a wierd problem. I am using a tempVar in my database...Basically I am calling a Navigation form (Which In-turn has 5 different forms with vertical tabs).

Somehow an error #91 appears abruptly. I mean the error appears sometime and sometimes it works fine.

Let me put it this way...I've got a cmdButton on my form with the following Code...

DoCmd.OpenForm "frmQuoteNavigation"

At this moment I shall mention it that I've also got the below Code in the form_current event (Donno if this is causing any problem)

TempVars("CustID").Value = Me.CustomerID.Value

When I click the cmd_button repeatedly say 10 times, On an average it works fine 8 times and pops up the error #91 message.

Any help will be appreciated as I've already spent Donkey's ears on this...

Many thanks in advance

I don't run your version of Access, and can't experiment with this to try to reproduce your problem, but from your description it sounds as if it's timing problem. But just to clarify the above, are you saying that the error appears approximately twice for every time you click the button? Or are you saying if you sit there and rapidly click the button ten times it will error out twice? And if the latter, why would you do that?

No I am not clickin' the button rapidly. I am taking enough time between two consecutive clicks

Hi Missingling!

I think you were right. Though I wasn't clickin' the button rapidly but when I delayed the click for about 10 secs it works.. Probably coz When I click the button it actually opens a web browser and the page takes a while to load...

I Hope the While busy...do events.. should do it for me....

Thank you anyways...

Given that bit of info I'd say that's probably it! Speed in the opening of browsers does vary from time to time!

Good luck with your project!
