#Error Due to non-existing sub report (1 Viewer)

I have an error in a calculated field when the sub report doesn't generate.

I've tried an IIF statement checking for IsNull, IsEmpty and IsMissing on the subreport field - to no avail.

What's next? What am I missing?

The subreport is not displayed because it is not linked properly to the report - it's just like form & subform linking.

I am having this same problem, what does he mean about the subreport not being correctly linked to the main report?? I have seen this topic posted elsewhere and there does not seem to be a resolution that works? People have suggested the Nz function but that doesn't fix this either. Any ideas?
