I hope someone can help. I have a tabbed form based on a multi-table query. All the tables in the db are linked to a main table "Application" with pk Application ID which is an autonumber field by an id field which is a number field.
My form has three tabs where application informaton is entered. It also has four subforms included.
The problem I am having is that the form is working fine except for an error message I am getting on the first control on the first tab "Prefix". Every time I try to add a new record and enter data into this field I get a message stating "the field cannot be updated" after which it allows me to enter data into it.
The form seems to be saving properly and there are no problems with the subforms.
I hope someone can help as this problem is very frustrating.
