Error msg given when I try to update data

Hi there~

I try to update data from my Receipt query into Inventory table. But when I run the query, it gives me the error message as per attachment.


Can anyone guide me on this and tell me what can I do?

do it as a make table query then see what field types it comes up with in the temporary table you make...then compare them to the ones you are populating inhe update qry

Like Darth Vodka was saying that error means you are trying to put information into a field that won't except it. I.E. text in to a number field.

Now i'm having another problem. I can manage run the Update query but the problem is when i check back the table that I update, it seems nothing to be updated into the table.


Can you tell me what is the problem actually?
