Error opening MDE

I get the following error when i open an MDE database.(see attached image)
We have Win2000 , Access 2000 .It is on an NTFS partition.
I have tried giving for all users Full Access on the Database.
It works fine if I login as Administrator, but not when Logged in as a USER.

Any Ideas?????

I assume that you have security embedded into this db (use of Admin and user suggest this). Please explain how you open the db. Do you use a shortcut? Do you ope Access then File - Open?

hi,
I havent enabled the security for the Database. There is no password for the database.
I tried opening the database directly , by double clicking on it and also by using a shortcut.
But i get the same error.

Your Win 2K security still isn't correct. Users must have read, write, create and delete permissions.

Yeh the rights on the mde was the problem.its OK now.
