So I absolutely have no idea what I'm doing. I just copied everything from another Access template and I want it to do the exact same thing that the other template does. When you click the 'New Audit' button on it opens a dialogue box of a subform called New Timesheet Audit where you can input stuff and it goes directly into the form.

Why not do the reverse? Copy everything you want from your database into the template database? That way you know it's going to do what you want it to do....
