Hi all,
Has anyone encountered this particular issue before, and if so how did you resolve it?
I have recently encrypted my Access BE DB. I used to use Excel to connect read only to the .accdb so that I could report on some statistics. I accomplished this by setting up a new Excel spreadsheet and linking to the .accdb in the normal manner - Data tab -> Access button. Since password protecting my BE DB when I go to link a new excel spreadsheet it quite correctly asks for my password. Upon entering the correct password and pressing okay the input box appears again almost as if I have entered the incorrect details, this continues to loop forever.
Apart from removing the encryption or selecting legacy encryption in the client settings (I am unsure how this would affect my ~15 users) does anyone have a workaround or solution they would kindly share?
Best regards
xPaul
