Question Excel Link

Hi Guys

I have tried to create a link from an Excel Sheet to a table in an Access database.

This all works fine, but if the database has that particular table open then the Excel User gets the following error message

'Excel cannot open file "Test.xlsx' because the file format or file extension is not valid. Verify that the file has not been corrupted and that the file extension matches the format of the file'

But as soon as the table in closed, the Excel sheet opens up fine.

Any advice?
