Exit button in access 2007

I created an exit button. I want to close everything (database, forms, query, macro). But the codes I put in it just doesn't work. How do I do this?

What did you put?

Application.Quit

should work (if code and macros are enabled).

I did that. I think I know where I went wrong. I'll try that again and delete an event. keep you posted.

I saw what was wrong. I inadvertently put a code to have it loop around. Took the code off and it works fine now. Thank you
