I need to set up a query that works out an assessment expiration date:

Students take 3 assessments in no particular order. Once they have passed their first assessment, the date of the pass is noted. Also, they have 2 years from that date to complete the other 2 assessments - or it all gets nullified.

Example: Exam:Pass, 15/12/2001. Exp Date:15/12/2003

Then from the date I can work out how many days, months, weeks etc are left.

Thanks loads, Lee

One More Thing...

Oh I just remembered about the 'DateAdd("m", 6, [YourDate])' function, so the only thing I really need is taking the 1st pass date entered out of the three please,

Ta, Lee

Where ExamDate is the field storing the date that the exam was passed you can create a new field with this:

ExpDate: DateAdd("yyyy", 2, [ExamDate])

Can you select the Min of the dates?

you mean in the totals box? I tried that, also tried first. Neither seems to work...

Try: Select studentNumber, Min([PassDate])
From yourTable
Group by studentNumber

Regards

seems to work if i set all the fields to Min. Thanks a lot guys
