Hello. Exporting reports to RTF files will always drop much/all of the formating. Have you thought about printing the reports to PDF files?

No I did not see that as an option in the file type drop down. I do not know how to code to export to pdf...it will require further research but thanks for the suggestion!

Saving an Access 97 report in the Rich Text format will usually loose a lot of the formatting [lines, check boxes, etc.] of your reports in the .RTF format. Can anybody verify if Access 2003 corrects this problem?

The freebie Acrobat "Reader" program does not allow you to create Adobe .PDF files. You need the full version of Adobe Acrobat which includes the Acrobat "Distiller" program which allows you to create [save] Microsoft Office files in the Adobe .PDF format.

There are supposedly Adobe type freebie programs that can do the same thing but I have never seen or tried any.

Good Luck
