Expression problems

Hi I am trying to create an expression in a report which calculates the average of one of the fields I am showing in my report but it doesnt appear to be working.

Body condition score average is the name of the field I want to get a total average of all the results over different dates. I also have a field which is a count of the number of fields shown in the report, this is called AccessTotalDate entered, so the exxpression I tried making was...


=[BCS Average] / [AccessTotalDate entered]

Is this correct, or what should I be doing to calculate this average?

Any help at all would be great

Shouldn't that just simply be:

=Avg([BCS])

You called the field, Body condition score average, is this an average of an average?

I have a list of averages from results, but now I am trying to find the average value over all of the averages I had calculated

Avg on the averages then. The source has to be the query from the previous Avg. There's also DAvg too.
