extract time

Hi all,

I know how to extract date values, but does anybody know how to extract time values? (have already searched for the answer on these forums)

For example:

The records in date/time field look like:

1/4/89 1:45:00 PM


I want to create 2 fields, one for the date, and one for the time:

Field 1 Field 2
1/4/89 1:45:00 PM

do format("nameoffield", "HH:MM:SS")

You can substitute the format for whatever format you want. Search the forums or look in Access help to determine which code you need.
