Fastest way to print multiple reports?

HI. I've got a form with a few records in it, and once you click on a record, a report comes up with the details. I need to be able to print say 20 of these easily and quickly.

I've added a link to each record that when i click, will just print the report without opening it, but this still takes 5 seconds where the user cannot keep using the program. Is there a way to make it print in the background so the user can keep using the form??

Or, is there a way i can add some tick box next to each record, select the ones i want to print and then just press print?
