With the Season of Good Will rapidly approaching the radio stations have started playing Christmas Songs...

What is your favourite Christmas song and what are your best memories of Christmas either as an adult or as a child?

My favourite song is the Pogues and Kirsty Mccoll, Fairy Tale in New York, such a great Tune...

My favourite memories are watching my two lads when they were post 5 years pre 10 years ages opening their presents up on Christmas Morning with wide and excited eyes thinking Santa had bought them overnight on his sleigh... lovly memories...

This time of year brings back fond memories long long ago of grandfather having time to play games. We also listened to some scratchy Christmas "gramophone recordings" (as he referred to them) and went through the family album.

My favorites (I have so many, I break them up by types):
Christmas song: Silver Bells
Christmas carol: Carol of the Bells
Christmas hymn: Silent Night, Holy Night
Winter Songs: Winter Wonderland and Little Jack Frost, Get Lost, Get Lost

Christmas Memory: going to my Auntie Hilda's on Christmas Eve every year for a great dinner and then driving through Candy Cane Lane at midnight (we celebrated Christmas on Christmas Day). Christmas to me is more than gifts. It is about the Saviour who came to give us the gift of eternal life. Born to die so that we may live.
