field box height

This just seems strange! I have a report that most fields are fine. There are 2 fields that i just can't set the height on. 0.1667" is what the fields are all set to. 2 fields ( that have back coloring to them) are ay 0.166". I can't get them to 0.1667"

any ideas why this might be?

Have you tried using FORMAT ---> SIZE on the toolbar...

1/1000th of an inch, gee we are getting down to the nitty gritty now, bit like when they started timing car racing down to the 1/10,000th of a second, I thought "good grief"

Have you tried setting the size to a much larger size , say 0.5" then back again? Some times you can jog access back into life.

Another thing you can try is to hold down the shift key and click on all the boxes you want to be the same size, then select properties from the menu bar. The property heading will say multiple selection, then you can type in the size you want. Hopefully then they will all be the same size.

yep, down to the nitty gritty! doing the "jog" thing seemed to have done it, thanks.

The fields on the report have a gray background so when printed ( or on screen) you could see the little ofset in the box height, only reason for being so picky.
