Hi guys,

Basically what the issue is I have a form called Header Managment that has the fields: address, phone and web . What I need to do is display each of those fields on a different completely unrelated form.

So the generally idea, if the address, website or phone number change I only need to update one form and all the rest get there info from that form

Cheers Everyone

Ben

Review the record source of both forms, determine how they're related. If they're not related in any way (as you seem to be implying), then you're going to have a hard time doing what it is that you want to do.

Thats the issue they have no relation what so ever.

Then you need to review your database design. By the name of the fields, Address, Phone, Web, it would seem that this is contact information of a sort. If so, it should be in some sort of a tblContacts, which would have a ContactIDPK field. Then whatever other table you have that is a part of the record source for the first form should have a contactIDFK, or something similar.

Generally, if they need to be related and aren't, its a design error.

Well they don't need to be related it's just every form has the same header and if that header was needed to be change I would only need to change the main form and they would all change
