Field Max Length

Um, well hi

I am a VB programmer, and need a database for a diary program i am making. Only i need more then 255 characters in one of my fields.

Is this possible, if not, what are my options.

Memo field. 65536 characters!

Only difference between a memo field and a text field, it cannot be indexed for sorting. Make sure you have a primary key associated with the memo field, preferably an autonumber.
