Hi all,

I'm hoping someone can help me with a small (I hope) problem I am having with my database.

I am adding fields to an existing form ('Courses') from 'fields available in related tables'; however, when I add these my form excludes records that do not have data in these fields.

I want my form to show all records even if no 'provider' has been entered.

Is this possible?

I have attached a sample of by db

Thanks in advance for any help

You need to use an Outer (Right) Join instead of an Inner Join. Right click on the relationship line in query design view, select join Properties, then select option 3;

"Include ALL records from 'tblCourses' and only those records from 'tblProviders' where the joined fields are equal."

Ah so simple when you know what you're doing.

Thank you very much for your help.

I had to create a new query with the relationships as per your guidelines and point the form data to the new query. Previously I was trying to point my form at two separate tables - all working now

Thanks again
