File Upload and hyperlinking Help

Am buliding a database and I need to be able to upload a file to the database. Something like how northwind allows you to upload a picture for a specific person only i want to upload a .doc file, where just like in northwind only the file path is stored. Then I would like to make that path as a hyperlink so that when you are viewing you can simple click on the hyperlink and view the document related to that person.
Can someone Please HELP me!!!!!!

data type = hyperlink

in design view of the table, set the data type for the field to 'hyperlink'

in the field, right-click and go to hyperlink>edit hyperlink
