Filter By Form - Stop Subform from Automatically Updating - HELP!

Hi, everyone.

I am working on a search form where I can filter a subform using dropdown lists. The filter is supposed to be triggered by clicking the search button. My issue is that when I go to choose a category from the first drop down list, the subform automatically updates, but when choosing from the controls thereafter, the form requires that I click the search button to apply the filter.

Does anybody know how to fix this?

Nevermind. I decided to build the filter in the codebuilder as opposed to changing the criterea in the query. Works fine now.
