filtering data in a combo box

I have a combo box, that displays the tutor name e.g 13BI, but saves the data as tutorid. On my form if year 12 is selected i only want the combo box to show all the tutor names starting with 12, and if 13 is selected i only want the combo box to show all the tutor names with 13 at the start. How do i do this?
