Filtering Records based on up to five date fields

Hello, I have a report based on my church's Sunday School attendance. I am trying to set it up so we can filter by a specific date, but the way I have it set up is so that each Sunday is on the same line for each person.
I.E.
John Smith 8/2/2015 AD2 8/9/2015 AD2 (etc)

Is it possible to make the filter search each one of the date fields and show who's attended on that day?

I know it should be set up with each date as it's own record, but I really like this set up. If this isn't possible, then I will revert to the correct way (which I can set up the filter from there).

yes, change it to the correct way. 1 person,date per record.
this is the main basis for database searches.

Sure that can be done. I'm unclear on your table format though, can you post it? Do you have wk1, wk2, wk3, wk4, wk5 fields which contains the date a person attended? I think you're better off doing this the correct (normalized) way because you'll likely run into other problems later.

Darn, I was really hoping for a way to manipulate it to work. I really think this looks nicer than the one date/person/record. Cest La Vie, thanks for the help.
