Find Record Macro (1 Viewer)

Hi. I would like to set up a macro on a main menu form that will (1) open the relevant form (2) find a surname on that form (3) enable me to type in (rather than pre-define in the macro) any surname I want to find.

Make sense?!

I would suggest you have a look at the example database that comes with access " north wind " I believe that this has the exact functionality you are looking for . This example should provide you with the information you need.
