I've got a table with the following fields:
UnitID
Event
Date
An example would be:
Unit Event Date
01 Start 1/1/06
01 Finish 5/1/06
02 Start 2/6/06
02 Finish
01 Start 3/9/06
01 Finish 4/1/06
ect...
I would like to write a query that lists all the Units that are between Start and Finish. I can do this through a series of subqueries... basically comparing the list of Unit/Start/IsNotNull and Unit/Finish/IsNull.
This uses three queries to do what I think can be accomplished using one (with more knowledge and style).
