Hello everyone!
In order for the user to pay attention to some event, I would like to place a blinking icon in the system tray.
Does anyone have similar code for this case?

i have an example app with code you can use to get users' attention

System tray alerts only work if focus assist is disabled. There are better approaches

I saw your example, but I thought that such an option to attract attention is also possible.
Too bad it's unrealistic.

I see you updated your example to include Task Dialog. Good move. I've been using task dialog a lot recently. It has a lot of options and isn't too difficult to configure. I'll check out your implimentation when I get home today.

Hi Moke
I've only included a sample of the examples as provided by Kevin Bell.
Although I've played with Task Dialog, I still prefer my own customised message forms

I tried to do something not provided in Kevin's examples & was unable to do so.
Kevin advised going back to my own forms which I did.

Can't remember whether I've tried to do a flashing system tray alert.
I've largely given up using that approach as I think most users now block most alert messages using focus assist & night hours settings

If you've not seen it, have a look at my YouTube video
