forcing ribbons to display in 2007

I have a suite of programs that use a toolbars in 2000-2003.

which displays close and output to excel. and I load this when I open any select query and this allows the user to put the Query to excel and is a hit with my customers

I have produced a ribbon to replace it in 2007 however the Ribbon is only visible If a form or a report has the focus.

Rather than convert all the queries into forms I wonder If I can force a Ribbon when the select query is displayed.

Queries don't have a Ribbon property I'm afraid so it can't be done. Your best bet is to use a Datasheet form which will have the look of a query.
