Ok, this is ridiculous I know, however I've tried looking everywhere and keep coming up against ridiculous barriers.

I'm trying to change the background colour of the actual form as apposed to a control. The palette is very limited with 40 colours and doesn't even contain the default grey that the forms start with. Instead, the nearest (and lightest) grey on the palette is a slightly darker and a more depressing colour.

I've tried using the Palette Source, linking it to a .bmp file as one source has directed and this doesn't actually change the palette at all.

If it was like the custom palette within mspaint, this would be good.

Does anyone know how to get more colors on the background of the form?

Again I apologise for this slightly trivial thread. :o

You can assign an RGB value to the form - so if you can find out what the RGB number is, you can use:

Me.Detail.BackColor = RGB(n, n, n)

where n is the number of the particular color.

You can also use the Access color number too: Me.Detail.BackColor = 255
