form between criteria

I tried to replicate the example on the last post here:

[ActiveDate] Between [Forms]![ACT_RPT_OPT]![FromDate] And [Forms]![ACT_RPT_OPT]![ToDate] Or [Forms]![ACT_RPT_OPT]![FromDate] Is Null


but when I put it in my query grid I get an Expr1: in front? Yet the DB example does not have it? I don't get it?

Expr2: [product] Between [Forms]![frmprodrange]![txtbeginprod] And [Forms]![frmprodrange]![txtendprod] Or [Forms]![frmprodrange]![txtbeginprod] Is Null

I can't get it to work and I assume that is why?

Check the spelling of the names of the form and text boxes.


You will get an ExprX if you haven't unchecked Show. But it won't affect the query criteria.

I pasted your expression in the database and it worked.

Thanks Jon, I got it going it must have been the way i was entering the criteria because it works now. I was just thrown by the way the expression displayed when I did it vs. your sample.
