Can I create a forum that can call another. I want a page set up that can call tables that have a layout that can controll the forum in many different ways.

Forum? or Form? (I know unintentional spelling errors that I'm making fun of - sorry 'bout that, but I need humour today)

Yes, a form can call another form but I'm not clear on exactly what you are asking to do as your explanation has confused me (easy to do today, I must admit :D )

Can you give a little better example?

Well, you got me. At least you not one of those guys that return a message well did you mean forum or form. You took up and ran with it. And yes, I mean form.

Probably the best way to explain what I'm trying to do is to take a snapshot of the form that I created as a runtime visual dBase program and make it available in the morning.

I caught your message in regards to the runtime. It seems the big thing is I can't go backwards in regards to design which would be okay. But I would have to be using data files that are updated constantly. If a runtime does not work I could exist within access but would prefer not to.

I am including a picture of the form I use with mobile text to kind of explained the basics to the forum. Yes, it's definitely not for the faint at heart. Hopefully you can tell me of I'm barking up the wrong tree.

Oops. Sorry my png is 118kb. I have to see if I can cut it back. A jpg is even bigger at 70%.

I don't think you're understanding.

1. The runtime is for users to use without having to have full Microsoft Access.

2. You have full Access so you can make all the design changes you need.

3. Data is not impacted. Adding columns to tables would not be possible but if you are needing to do that then something isn't designed properly to begin with.

Just ZIP the file and you can upload up to 2Mb.

The current runtime I'm using right now, in the zip file, has been used for about 12 or 15 years. We want out of dbase and think this move is over do.

Bob Larson. Are you from dBase IV forums. This time I got forum right.

I was afraid if I sent the image that it might be too complex but I am trying to get the general idea if Access can lean in that direction, the way that I am using that form.

Bob

The form is complex, that is for sure. But I'm not sure how it relates to the question you posted -

In fact, I'd say I'm even more confused now than before because there is no indication from your screen print of you referring to any other form. So what do you mean by, "can I create a forum (sic) that can call another?"

At bottom is one of the form's. Also you can see how we can can a tab to bring up a supporting table such as the "City" table tab.
