can anybody explain to me how to creat a form that has comboboxes that has updating lists after the first one is selected?

This has been answered several times in the past on this forum. Try using "Cascading Combo Box" in the search.

Thanks bob, found it. Do you or anybody else know what it is called if I have a combobox then a "cascading list box" (like select employee from cbbox and show their wages)? I tried searching but cant find it (don't know what that is called). Any key words?

Basically the concept is still going to be the same. You will set the recordsource of the list box to something that is based on the selection of the combo box and then requery the list box to refresh the recordset based on the change in recordsource.

I am sorry, I'm still asleep, I meant text box...Yeah found the listbox thing but I need text...I don't knwo how to do the text b/c the data tab is different
u know? I tried putting control source to the table field I want it to be but it shows Name#
