Form dissappeared when filter navigation by category

Hi

Just come back to a project after a long gap.

Wanted to amend a form and can see it is no longer where i left (Frm_Variety) was part of the variety category you cansee in First attachment.

However i know it still exists as the form still works as i can call it to open from another form but also if i filter the navigation page by object type the form is visible.

Any ideas why this might be. Has me very confused.

Check the list of Unassigned Objects

Hi. What happens if you search for it? In which category does it show up?

Hi.

It doesn’t appear in list of unassigned objects and if I search at top for it by typing in form name it returns no results. I checked the search is working correctly by searching for a form I can see is present and it returns the form as you would expect.

Do you know if it's hidden?

OK - perhaps you have renamed the shortcut in your custom groups.

Failing that, look in the hidden system file MSysObjects

Stupid question but how do I check if I have renamed the shortcut?

Good question that I could see coming. Offhand no idea!

I've always found Custom Groups somewhat flaky...!
Suggest you either go to the standard Object Types view and (re-)assign it to your custom group.
OR revert to view by Object Type
