Form Field Lock

Hello there everybody,

I see that the board had changed. Looks nice.

Hope someone can help me here? I have a form that takes inputs. What I would like to do is lock a certain field once the a user has inputted some text into it. If anyone can help me with this, it's much appriciated!

Use the AfterUpdate event of that text box to lock it. You should consider a way to unlock it so that changes [fixes] can be made to the field when needed. You will also have to use the forms OnCurrent event to lock the text box if it is not null to prevent changes to it if there data in it. This will not work if you are using a continuous forms view.

Hi hmongie. Did you ever figure out how to do this? I have the same question and would appreciate it if you can let me know what solution you found for locking a field after a user has entered information.
